The best way to increase your sales is to increase your sales calls. Start with two short-term strategies. First, look for the lowest hanging fruit. That would consist of current customers that already buy something you sell. You may have products that your customers don’t even know about. Make a list of everything you sell and see if every customer is buying what you believe they should from that list.
Second, identify the people who are not current customers but have been in contact with you. Put together an attractive offer for this group and send it out to them by newsletter, email, phone or personal visit. Many people just need a reminder about your products and/or services.
A good long-term strategy is to increase your marketing. Does your website promote your products and make it easy to contact you? Do you send out a newsletter which will remind people about what you offer? Do you write a blog that people can follow? All of these things are relatively inexpensive and can start the process of connecting you with people who may want to buy from you.
